Let's Start at the Very Beginning

I caught the picture taking bug when my son was born.  I have been obsessed with all things photography ever since.  I started using a simple point and shoot, but couldn't get enough.

When my son was not yet one I invested in my canon Rebel T1i, which I love to pieces.  The first couple of years I lived in the auto setting, terrified to go beyond.  My pictures were good, but not great.  This past year I have taken control of my camera, and have only began taking great photos.

Some day I hope to shoot with a full framed camera body... someday.  For now I am learning all I can, and have began to collect lenses.

I am a novice.  I am a beginner.  I am a student.  I take a bazillion photos everyday, and am continually trying to perfect the art of picture taking.

This blog is simply for me to document some of my favorite photos.  Being the visual learner that I am, I thought it might be a good thing for me to track as I continue on in the learning process.

Meet the my children, the ones who endure my picture taking addiction.

(none of these photos have been edited in anyway.  only natural light and my camera were used.  obviously I  am no professional.)
